Dr. Molly McCarthy (Doyle) is the licensed veterinarian and owner of Resilience Integrative Veterinary Medicine. She is a native of West Michigan, where her love of animals began at a very young age. She started riding horses when she was just 3 years old and went on to show her Connemaras across the state in both the Hunter and Jumper show rings. She also grew up raising, training, and showing dogs, sheep and steers in 4H and regional shows.
After graduating from veterinary medical school, Dr. Molly worked as an equine (horse) veterinarian at Wilhite & Frees Equine Hospital, an equine surgical referral facility outside of Kansas City, before returning home to West Michigan. Here she discovered her passion for using animal chiropractic and acupuncture along side her traditional veterinary care to help athletes feel and perform their best.
Dr. Molly also has a special interest in pain management and rehabilitation. Whether while working with animal athletes, those suffering from chronic illnesses, or in helping to ease the aging process for our geriatric patients, Dr. Molly approaches each individual patient from a functional standpoint.
Very early in her career, Dr. Molly realized she not only enjoyed helping patients and clients, but also wanted to be able to do more for her fellow veterinary colleagues as well. This is when she discovered relief (locum) work! A solution where veterinarians can take much needed time off, but still be able to offer quality veterinary care to their patients while they area away, and keep the clinic doors open. This aspect of veterinary medicine is very dear to Dr. Molly's heart, and one area she hopes to return to some day.
Dr. Molly is devoted to providing exceptional veterinary medicine with compassion and integrity at all times.
Outside of work, Dr. Molly enjoys spending time with her husband (Kyle), family, and friends, any active outdoor activity, riding her Connemara, Isaac, and playing with her 3 goofy dogs Allie (Lab/Whippet Mix), Molly-the-dog (Yellow lab) and Jake (Border Collie).
